Nicole Kidman would have "gone to the ends of the earth" for her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
The Hollywood actress was 23 when she married Tom in 1990. Their union lasted a decade and they adopted two children before they split citing irreconcilable differences.
Nicole has recalled being infatuated with her spouse and wanting to do anything for him.
"I fell madly, passionately in love. I was reeling with Tom. I would have gone to the ends of the earth for him," Nicole told DuJour magazine. "We were in a bubble, just the two of us. We became very dependent on one another."
The 45-year-old star thought her life with Tom was "perfect". Nicole admits she was stunned and devastated when the marriage came to an end.
"It took me a very long time to heal. It was a shock to my system," she explained.
Nicole is now happily married to country singer Keith Urban and they raise two daughters together.
The actress is thrilled to have been given another shot at happiness, saying Keith is "wonderful and caring" and has changed her life.
Nicole also spoke about the experience of giving birth to her daughter Sunday Rose in 2008.
"It took me so long to have a child. I feel enormous gratitude," she added. "Sunday has healed an enormous amount in me. It's a very private thing, but she just has."
