Nicole Richie: Porn sends me to sleep

Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie joked that even thrillers and porn movies aren’t exciting enough to keep her awake.

The reality star reveals enjoying the film genres before bed helps her doze off in a new episode of her web series Candidly Nicole.

The star spoke to an expert when she was concerned about her resting habits and revealed that even catching something exciting on TV will not stop her from snoozing.

“No it actually puts me right to sleep,” she admitted when asked if the flicks keep her alert.

Nicole confessed that her husband and father of her two children, Joel Madden, may not be a help when it comes to getting some shut-eye.

She is constantly tired during the day and said that her spouse is a regular annoyance.

“He bothers me just in life,” she replied to a professional when questioned about whether the musician interferes with her relaxing at night.

Nicole, who is the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, also told viewers she sweats excessively during her sleep.

The expert suggested the perspiration could be because of her interesting dreams.

“They’re not nightmares but I do like to have fun. It’s always an adventure,” she shared.

Nicole, 31, finally learned that she was not suffering from a disorder after donning a nasal CPAP mask.

Before undergoing a sleep test at a facility she joked she was ready for a nap shortly after rising.

“I woke up like two hours ago. I’m exhausted,” she told a staff member.

Nicole has daughter Harlow and son Sparrow with her Good Charlotte rocker partner.

With their combined busy schedules she doesn’t get time to break during the day but vowed to take more afternoon naps.

“I don’t really nap, I don’t really sleep anywhere else. Mainly just my house and frat houses,” she jested, musing, “If you say it’s okay then I’ll take a little disco nap, I will demand it.”
