Novak can't do Simon Cowell voice

Kayvan Novak couldn't master his Simon Cowell impression for Full English

Fonejacker prankster Kayvan Novak has said he was disappointed he wasn't able to voice the part of Simon Cowell in new animated sitcom Full English.

Kayvan voices many characters in the Channel 4 show, described as being like "the British Simpsons".

The first episode sees an untalented act storm through Britain's Got Talent on the sympathy vote, after Simon mistakenly believes her parents are dead.

Kayvan, 33, missed out on voicing the TV mogul, saying: "I wish it was me because it's a great voice to do if you can do it well, but I just can't do it."

But he said of lending his voice to the show: "It gave me a chance to do lots of different voices.

"They said it was going to be like the British Simpsons and I thought, 'I'll have a piece of that, thank you'.

"It's got lots of jokes, both visual and scripted, and is just a bit silly."

Full English begins on Channel 4 on Monday, November 12.
