Lamar Odom allegedly verbally assaulted his ex-wife Khloé Kardashian outside a SoulCycle class on Wednesday due to her new rumoured romance with basketball player James Harden.

The 31-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is rumoured to be dating Houston Rockets NBA player James Harden, as the pair have been seen out together several times over the past month.

Lamar is said to have verbally assaulted Khloé out of the blue outside of her SoulCycle class in Beverly Hills on Wednesday and it’s claimed his strange attack was done because he is jealous.

"Lamar has been trying to contact Khloé, but she is done and has ignored him. Lamar has issues with Khloé dating [James] Harden,” a source told People magazine.

Speculation is rife the bizarre altercation has Khloé on the defensive, looking for more personnel to protect her immediately.

Apparently her sister Kim Kardashian is pleading with Khloé to beef up private security.

"It made Khloé first shocked and then scared that Lamar was waiting outside the studio," the insider noted. "She doesn't know how he found her. She is thinking about getting a bodyguard.

"Kim is encouraging her to get a bodyguard. She told Khloé that his behaviour is inappropriate, and she needs to nip it in the bud before it escalates.

"Khloé is in full agreement, and they're going to start looking into private security right away. Kim says that there's no reasoning with Lamar right now, so it's better to be safe than sorry."

Khloé was married to Lamar for four years until she filed divorce papers in December 2013. The pair finally signed the divorce documents on July 21, 2015.
