One Direction ‘not natural movers’

British boy band One Direction have reportedly taken up Latin dance fitness craze Zumba to learn some moves for their upcoming international concert tour.

The British boy band – comprising of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne – are in full preparatory mode for the One Direction 2013 World Tour.

Apparently the bandmates are concerned with their perceived subpar dancing abilities.

They also want to build stamina so that they do not become fatigued onstage.

In order to improve their endurance and to pick up some impressive dance moves, One Direction has been attending classes for Latin fitness craze Zumba.

The aerobic dance lessons are said to feature Ricky Martin’s pop songs Livin’ La Vida Loca and She Bangs.

It is thought that Zumba is having a beneficial impact on the group, as they are learning how to shake their hips.

“The lads are not natural movers so them dancing to Latin music is a sight to behold,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

“But they know it’s good for fitness so they’re putting in the graft.”

According to the publication, the band has been ordered to cut out alcohol and cigarettes from their life before the tour commences.

They are also rumoured to be undertaking gruelling spin cycling classes bright and early every morning.

Their concert tour is comprised of 117 dates in European, Australasian and American cities.

One Direction’s first performance will take place at London’s O2 Arena on February 23.
