The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright was arrested after a fight outside his bar, his spokesman confirmed.
One man is understood to have been injured during the brawl outside Wright's Deuces Bar and Lounge, in Chigwell, Essex, in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Wright, who appears on the ITV2 show, and another man were arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed to return to a police station later this month.
A spokesman for Wright, 23, confirmed he was involved in the incident but added Wright only stepped in to "protect his nightclub".
"There was an altercation outside his premises. He did go outside to see what was happening and became involved in a scuffle," his spokesman said.
"He was not charged with anything and I believe CCTV is being reviewed."
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman confirmed that police were called to an incident outside the bar at 2.30am yesterday.
The spokeswoman said: "One man is believed to have been injured during the incident. However, he declined treatment at the scene.
"Two men, one aged 23 and one aged 20, were arrested on suspicion of affray. They have been bailed to appear at a police station in January. Inquiries continue."
