Oprah Winfrey: No one else is responsible for your life
Oprah Winfrey has addressed rumours she is guest starring on the second season of hit TV series Empire.

The 61-year-old media mogul has changed the lives of millions over the years through her television shows, magazines, movies, books and her TV channel OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
Oprah established the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa, which opened in 2007.
She visits the campus annually and the star is committed to ensuring her students are empowered when facing life’s demands.
"Once a year, I go back to my school in South Africa,” she told Extra. “I teach a course called Life 101, and what I teach them is you are responsible for your life, period, and there are certain laws in the universe that determine really whether or not you are successful or not successful and the biggest of those laws is what you put out is coming back to you all the time… I'm a teacher and a mother."
Rumours are rife Oprah will be making a guest appearance during the second season of hit TV show Empire.
But she is unsure whether this will be logistically possible for her.
"I don't know if that is going to happen this season because I am starting my own drama series for OWN, which I am acting in, so it makes it a little inconvenient to be able to go and do someone else's work when I'm starting on my own,” Oprah explained.
The legendary host decided to end The Oprah Winfrey Show after 25 years in May 2011.
She has since gone on to star in award-winning movies like The Butler (2013) and Selma (2015).
But leaving The Oprah Winfrey Show was not an easy task for her.
“When I decided to end the Oprah show, I knew my life without it would be forever different,” she told O, The Oprah Magazine previously. “Once my life was mine to design, I found myself a bit unbalanced in structuring it. I’ve had to learn to plan what I want to do instead of always fulfilling the 'have to dos'.”
