Ora: Success intimidating to men

Rita Ora has revealed that men can find her success intimidating.

The Shine Ya Light singer, who is rumoured to be dating Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris, hinted that her fame and fortune could hinder her chances at finding Mr Right as she chatted to Amanda de Cadenet on her new show, The Conversation.

"It is very intimidating, you know. Money. It's money. Money is intimidating, money can be scary, money can be powerful," she said.

"And once you find a set stone for you as a woman, living a life and you have a career and you're independent, you don't rely on your partner, or your family, whoever, that's because you are financially and mentally stable.

"And when you're looking for somebody, you already have that bit covered. So you're just looking for a companionship. You're just looking for a cuddle."

Rita, 22, also confessed to her secret vice of eating raw onions.

"I constantly smell like onions because... I'm constantly eating raw onions. It's like my thing. Put some salt on that and bite it like an apple," she admitted.

The Kosovan singer added: "I think that's why I tend to always be single. But I'm gonna stop. I think that when I find... when my companion comes to my... it's going to stop."

The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet will be shown on Lifetime on November 4 at 8pm.
