Ozzy Osbourne has admitted to a drink and drugs relapse as his wife Sharon escapes to Mexico amidst rumours they have split.

The former Britain’s Got Talent presenter was spotted at the Esperanza Resort in Cabo, San Lucas at the weekend as the couple denied they were divorcing.

Now rocker Ozzy has confessed to abusing drugs and alcohol for around 18 months and apologised for his actions.

“For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs,” he wrote on his Facebook page. “I was in a very dark place and was an a****e to the people I love most, my family.”

The star insists he is making progress with his addictions though.

Ozzy claims he has been clean for more than a month.

“However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober,” he added.

Sharon and Ozzy have been living separately in California for a while after she moved into the Beverly Hills Hotel and he rented a house nearby, according to TMZ.

While attempting to relax abroad she apparently couldn’t help but text and talk on the phone all the time.

“Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I’m just trying to be a better person,” Ozzy clarified about their 31-year marriage. “I would like to apologise to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behaviour during this period…and my fans.”

Sagittarius:

Beware of spending beyond your means. Sticking to a budget will help you survive the festive season relatively unscathed. It will be easier than you think to let your grip on the purse strings slip especially as the big day draws near. Let Christmas be about loving, sharing and giving. Spend quality time preparing food, making decorations and playing games together. If you haven't sent all your cards or round robin emails give some thought about what you will be sharing with others this year.More
