Osbourne: Sharon great for Strictly

Jack Osbourne has said he thinks his mum Sharon could swap sides in the Saturday night ratings battle from The X Factor to Strictly Come Dancing.

Sharon returned to ITV's singing contest as a judge for one year in 2013, but now her son reckons her exit could really stick the knife into Simon Cowell - by joining ratings rival Strictly on the BBC.

He told The Sun: "Mum's a great dancer. She trained at the same place a lot of professional dancers on the shows studied.

"She's got close to doing Strictly before but has been too busy."

Jack said he thought his mum would have no fear in upsetting Simon if she did decide to head for the ballroom.

He said: "She's not afraid of Simon, I don't think she'd be bothered if she annoyed him by taking part in Strictly. And she'd be great."

Jack and his sister Kelly have both taken part in series of Dancing With The Stars, the US version of Strictly, and both reached the finals.
