Ousted Celebrity Big Brother contestant Ken Morley denies he is a racist
Former Coronation Street star Ken Morley has apologised "unreservedly" after viewers complained about his behaviour on Celebrity Big Brother.
The actor repeatedly clashed with his housemates and was evicted from the show for using "unacceptable language" including repeated use of the word "negro".
He told ITV's Loose Women he had used "an outdated expression", but denied he was racist.
He said: "I apologise unreservedly to everybody who watched that programme."
Last night viewers saw Morley's housemates react to his departure. Former Apprentice contestant Katie Hopkins said: "The process should be that people get evicted by the public and not get censored out of here."
