P. Diddy: I'm back

P. Diddy

P. Diddy declared "Diddy is back" as he splashed out on vodka for fellow revellers at a club this week.

The hip-hop star is believed to have injured his neck, ribs and collarbone in a car crash last October. However, Diddy arrived at the newly reopened Marquee club in New York City on Wednesday night looking suave and sophisticated in a smart black suit. Determined to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves at the venue, he grabbed the mic and told the crowd, "Diddy is back. New York is back. Marquee is back."

According to New York Post, he then proceeded to order a bottle of luxury French vodka Ciroc for every table in the club.

The rapper also showed his fondness for DJ Vice, who had been hired to provide the entertainment that night. Diddy - real name Sean Combs - gave the DJ a huge hug before his shout-out to the crowd.

The 43-year-old star has been making the most of life in recent months. Shortly after his car crash late last year, Diddy threw a lavish party to celebrate his birthday.

He took 40 friends to Soho House in Los Angeles, and then invited everyone to continue partying at Greystone Manor supperclub.

Details about Diddy's car crash are hazy, but it's known that his chauffeured Cadillac Escalade collided with a Lexus RX just outside the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Images of the star lying injured on a grass bank quickly made it onto the internet.
