Palmer introduces baby boy

Teresa Palmer shared a snap of her newborn son on Instagram.

The Warm Bodies star welcomed son Bodhi Rain with her actor husband Mark Webber on Monday.

In a message posted on Intagram Tuesday evening, the Australian actress revealed her bouncing baby boy is doing just fine.

“Thank you God for blessing us with the most divine gift of our baby son. Introducing Bodhi Rain Palmer born safely, lovingly and naturally last night. 8 lbs. even,” she captioned an image of the tot's hand holding her own.

Teresa also shared the origin of her son’s unique name. And she took a moment to thank her fans for the well wishes.

“Bodhi means ‘Enlightened one,’ Rain means ‘Abundant Blessings From Above’ and we chose Palmer as his last name as Mark’s [five-year-old] son Isaac didn’t take his dad’s name either,” she explained. “Thanks for all the blessings and love everyone.”

Teresa and Mark announced their baby news in August.

The couple were married in December in Mexico, and again in California in a Christian ceremony earlier this month, People magazine reports.

They first met in the fall of 2012.

"This is actually really embarrassing," Teresa told the Herald Sun previously. "I looked him up after I saw the trailer for his film End of Love and realised we had so much in common.

"There were lots of emails going back and forth... it was like old-fashioned love letters in a way. [He] changed [my] perspective on a few things about [my] life."
