Paltrow: I have stripper bum

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow joked she has the rear end of “a 22-year-old stripper” after working out so rigorously to the Tracy Anderson Method of exercising.

The 40-year-old actress shared an interesting anecdote at the launch of fitness expert Tracy Anderson’s flagship Los Angeles studio earlier this week.

The star, who has adopted the Tracy Anderson Method of exercising, went bathing suit shopping with a friend recently.

Her buddy was amazed by how Gwyneth had transformed her body.

"I said, 'You know, this isn't so bad for 40, right?'" Gwyneth recounted to Us Weekly. "And [my friend] goes, 'It's not so bad for a 22-year-old stripper!'"

Gwyneth was once resigned to believe her frame could be reshaped through fitness.

The stunning thespian confesses she is still dismayed by workouts.

"Oh, I knew it would never change! I had exercised before I had met her… I had done Ashtanga yoga and pilates and I [ran] and I thought I was fit, you know?” she gushed.

"I just sob and then kick and scream and then I just force myself to do it. I just got obsessed. When you see results like that, I started following everything she said and she completely transformed my body and I'm so grateful."
