Pamela: I looked like a Q-tip
Pamela Anderson's friend has assured her she looks "even more feminine" with a pixie crop.
The Baywatch babe was formerly known for her long blonde locks and surprised fans when she debuted a pixie crop towards the end of last year.
She was unsure about her new look at first and worried it might even impact her love life.
“At first I thought I looked like Anderson Cooper or like a Q-tip or something... But now I feel really powerful," she told the US edition of ELLE magazine.
“I have a friend who is an awesome, studly man, and he goes, ‘You know, some women cut their hair and it makes them look even more masculine, but you look even more feminine... I thought it would be weird having sex with short hair, but then I kind of got into the mode.”
In January, the 46-year-old revealed that she had remarried Rick Salomon.
The pair first wed in 2007 and their marriage was annulled in 2008, with Pamela citing fraud.
The actress has enjoyed her fair share of Hollywood parties, but is now pleased to be leading a quieter life.
“The rock-star thing became very destructive, like, wow. I didn’t know what I was doing. I just kind of became that thing,” she admitted.
“The hair, that rock-star kind of lifestyle, just living a dream. It kind of took over. It started out very innocent and then I turned into a cartoon character. And I started to feel like a cartoon character.”
She might have moved on from her wild ways, but there are aspects of her past the star finds hard to shake.
Pamela is horrified that her two sons could stumble across a sex tape she made with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.
“I don’t know if they’ve seen it, but they know about it. They know about everything,” she revealed. “Stupid Internet. I don’t know why everyone is so impressed with it.”
