Russella takes to the stage for ITV1 talent show, Britain's Got Talent (ITV/PA)

At least one act on tonight's Britain's Got Talent has the recipe for success when they cook up a pancake and feed it to David Walliams during their routine.

Russella, a 32-year-old drag queen from London, told the judges on the ITV talent show she wanted to write the first "drag queen cookery book" before wielding her frying pan while lip syncing to a backing track.

They are not the only performer making a meal of their auditions though - with piano teacher Lorraine Bowen entertaining Walliams and his fellow judges - Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell - with a performance of her track The Crumble Song.

The 53-year-old from Brighton played the song - which includes the lyrics "Everyone is good at cooking something, and I'm good at cooking crumble" - on a keyboard on top of an ironing board.

Other acts included a 12-piece dance group from South Wales called Groove Thing, and five singing brothers called The Sakyi Five.

:: The episode is on ITV at 8pm tonight.
