Paparazzo files assault complaint against Kylie Jenner's security guard

The snapper is also preparing to sue over the alleged clash.

Kylie Jenner's security guard has been accused of attacking a paparazzo for attempting to snap a photo of the reality star and rapper PartyNextDoor.

Kim Kardashian's half-sister split from hip-hop star Tyga earlier this month (May16) after a turbulent on/off relationship, but she is said to have already moved on with PartyNextDoor, who she has been friends with for some time.

Kylie and the Canadian musician, real name Jahron Brathwaite, fuelled the romance rumours on Wednesday night (18May16) by attending an event together at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, but when a photographer attempted to document their outing on film, the 18-year-old's security officials stepped in.

According to, cameraman Charles Baker was inside the venue when he tried to get a picture of the pair, prompting a guard to confront him and allegedly punch him in the face.

Baker claims his camera was also damaged in the incident, and he has since filed a criminal complaint with police, while he is also exploring his legal options.

Kylie's representatives have yet to comment on the accusations.

News of the incident emerges after sister Kim opened up about the awkward situation she was put in when Kylie began dating Tyga, the former fiance of her friend Blac Chyna, in the summer of 2014.

In a preview clip of Sunday's (22May16) U.S. broadcast of their reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim reveals she felt she had to distance herself from Chyna in support of her younger sister - even though she knew how much pain Kylie's new romance was causing her old friend.

"I understand that Kylie dating Tyga completely broke Chyna's heart," Kim acknowledges in the footage. "But I had no choice but to take my sister's side. That's my sister."

"Do I think that everyone needs to sit down and talk and work it out?" she asks. "Absolutely."

Their family dynamic was further complicated in January (16) when brother Rob Kardashian struck up a relationship with Chyna, who he became engaged to in April (16). They have since announced they are expecting their first child together later this year (16).
