Paris Hilton and Afrojack's rumoured romantic relationship is reportedly spurious.
The hotel heiress and the electronic music producer have been romantically linked since last year. The pair are working on Paris' new album together.
It has been said that Paris and Afrojack ended their romance Wednesday, but these claims are apparently completely unsound.
"One hundred per cent not accurate and are coming from inaccurate sources," an insider told Us Weekly magazine.
Paris' representative confirms that she and Afrojack remain confidants.
"Paris and Afrojack are best friends and love and support each other very much. Nothing has changed," the star's spokesperson revealed to the publication.
Paris believes the hearsay is complete nonsense.
"DJ Afrojack is 1 of my best friends & always will be. Must be a slow news week that the media keeps making up these ridiculous stories. Lol." she posted on her Twitter account.
Afrojack supports his friend's position.
"Zzzz media's at it again me and Paris Hilton have been best friends for almost a year, still are, listen to my words next time!" the musician tweeted.
The pair deny that they were ever even dating.
"They've never said that they're in a relationship," a source told the magazine. "They've never said they're together. They've always expressed that they are good friends. They are sort of laughing off reports they broke up because there was never a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship to begin with."
