Paris Hilton: Congrats on engagement sis!
Paris Hilton has confirmed rumours her younger sibling Nicky is engaged to wed banking heir James Rothschild.
Reports emerged on Tuesday the fashion designer accepted banking heir James Rothschild’s hand in marriage.
And on Wednesday Paris expressed her joy over the impending union via Instagram.
“Congratulations @NickyHilton on your engagement! I'm so happy for you! You will be the most beautiful bride!” Paris wrote in a caption attached to an image of Nicky and James holding hands. “Such a lovely couple! Love you both so much!”
Paris signed off with a smiley face emoji that has hearts in replace of eyes and she also included a pictographic symbol of a smiling bride in her message.
Nicky, 30, began dating James in 2011 after they met in Italy while attending model Petra Ecclestone’s wedding to James Stunt.
Apparently the fashion designer accepted James’ proposal while they celebrated their relationship with a quick getaway a few days ago.
"They went on a romantic anniversary trip over the weekend. He took her out on a boat into the middle of Lake Como and he proposed, got down on one knee and everything. It was incredibly romantic and beautiful,” an insider told Us Weekly.
Paris Hilton’s younger sister Nicky was married once before, as she tied the knot with businessman Todd Andrew Meister at the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel in Nevada 10 years ago. The marriage was annulled three months later, with the former couple claiming they eloped on a whim.
