Paris Hilton proud of face pillows

Paris Hilton finds the cushions emblazoned with her face on display at her home "hilarious".

Sofia Coppola's new movie The Bling Ring is about a real-life group of teenagers who stole more than $3 million in clothing and jewellery from the homes of celebrities in Los Angeles in 2008. Paris was one of the victims and allowed Sofia and her film crew inside her home to shoot the movie.

In one scene a pair of pillows featuring the socialite’s smirking face can be seen. The 32-year-old revealed that contrary to rumours she had them made purposely, they were actually a gift.

“My girlfriend bought them for me as a joke for my birthday,” Paris purred to Vanity Fair. “I was like, ‘These are so hilarious. I just have to keep them in the house.’ So I did. She had them made at some custom place. They make T-shirts and everything. It was just supposed to be a funny joke, and I thought it was funny.”

Paris was so confident in Sofia's film-making skills that none of her home was off-limits to the crew.

“[Sofia] came to my birthday party last year and told me she was doing the film, she said that she loved my house and really wanted to shoot there. She said it would be so impossible to re-create," Paris explained.

“I trust her, and I met the cast before, and they were all really nice.”

Paris was strangely affected by seeing her home on the big screen. The blonde became tearful during the screening at this year's Cannes Film Festival, but is grateful for the experience.

"It was really emotional. It made me really upset and angry. I was trying not to cry because I knew I had to, like, walk around Cannes after. But yeah, it made me very upset because I knew that it was all true," Paris finished. “I respect [Sofia] so much and love her so much and think she is so sweet. If it were anyone else, I would not have agreed to it.”
