Paris: I was too busy to eat right

Paris Hilton has started eating organic food

Paris Hilton has admitted her partying lifestyle meant that she did not used to eat a healthy diet.

The 30-year-old socialite and heiress told People magazine that last year she was missing meals because she was so busy.

Paris said: "I'd been to every incredible party in the world, but I was going out with my girlfriends and dancing, having a lot of coffee and Red Bull. Being on the go, I would just grab fast food or skip meals because I was busy."

The reality TV star revealed her mother Kathy Hilton noticed that she had lost a lot of weight, and told her she should change her lifestyle.

Paris said: "She would be like, 'You're way too skinny. It doesn't look good,' I said, 'Mom, everyone is skinny in Hollywood. It's just the way it is.' And she's like, 'No. It's not normal'."

But the young businesswoman explained her new boyfriend former nightclub owner Cy Waits, who she started dating last summer, had helped her get healthy by introducing her to organic food.

She said: "He explained everything to me. Now I only eat organic foods when we're at home. He makes me watch documentaries on food, like Fast Food Nation, and he makes me aware of what things are good for your body because he's very into that."

Paris said she and Cy now go jogging together and even though paparazzi pictures of her last December sparked pregnancy rumours she is happy with her size.

She said: "I feel like it's healthy and normal... I'm just making smart choices."
