Party pooper Jeremy Piven

Jeremy Piven was so tired after filming his latest TV show that he'd fall asleep at people's parties.

The Entourage actor said that while filming British TV series Mr Selfridge he spent so much time on set, it left room for little else.

As the new series of the hit show, which tells the true story of how London's famous store Selfridges came to be, airs tonight in the UK 48-year-old Jeremy is determined to be a better party guest.

"Last year, I was on set so much that whenever I'd pop out in the evenings to go to somebody's birthday party or whatever, I'd be the one that would fall asleep on the couch. I was the number one person you didn't want to invite," he laughed to Britain's OK! magazine.

While his busy schedule kept him from partying, it also stopped the ladies’ man from meeting any nice women.

"I didn't really go out with many ladies. I would always say to myself, 'Tonight I'm going to go out for dinner and am going to enjoy myself,' but by the time we finished filming, I just couldn't," he added.

The workaholic is also busy filming the hotly anticipated movie version of Entourage.

The Golden Globe-winning TV show ran for eight seasons from 2004, and reunites the cast for the feature film production.

Jeremy took to his Twitter account last week to give fans a teaser of what's to come.

"Boys are back.." he posted to his 2.4million followers alongside a photo of some of the Entourage cast.
