Robert Pattinson's loved ones are reportedly eager for him to "ditch" Kristen Stewart.
The Twilight stars have experienced romantic problems this year, after Kristen admitted being unfaithful with married film director Rupert Sanders.
The pair just wrapped up promotion of their new movie The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 and Robert's inner circle wants to see their newly rekindled romance end.
"It's been awful for his family and friends to watch him, under the glare of the world, next to this woman who cheated on him and broke his heart," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"Many held back while he was promoting the movie. But now they are making their feelings known.
"He has to ditch her. She is making him look like a total idiot."
Robert reportedly finds his life in the spotlight challenging.
The press that his and Kristen's relationship receives exacerbates the situation.
"Robert has really struggled with the immense fame thrust upon him by starring in the Twilight movies," the insider said.
"So the sensible thing to do would surely be to dump the woman who has turned his life into a soap opera.
"But the bottom line is that she has a firm hold over him and he's struggling to make a clean break."
