Robert Pattinson apparently got a telling off from Australian police for not wearing a helmet while riding a bicycle.
The Twilight star, who has been in Adelaide shooting his new film The Rover, escaped a fine but was warned that he must wear his helmet, reported the Daily Telegraph.
The 26-year-old - who has allegedly split from on-off girlfriend Kristen Stewart - was seen riding along the city's River Torrens wearing only a baseball cap turned backwards by a fan, who took a photo and sent it to the authorities.
South Australian law requires riders to wear "an approved bicycle helmet that is properly adjusted and securely fastened".
"He was spoke to and told of the requirement to wear a helmet when riding a bike in the state of south Australia," a police spokesman said.
"He was just told of this requirement... and cautioned."
Guy Pearce also stars in The Rover, a futuristic Western set in the Australian outback.
