Paula Patton: Beyonce is gorgeous

Paula Patton

Paula Patton is confident that Beyoncé Knowles will bounce "back in no time" to her pre-baby body.

Beyoncé gave birth to her daughter Blue Ivy Carter with rapper Jay-Z last month.

Paula and her husband singer Robin Thicke welcomed their son Julian Fuego into the family in April 2010.

Although getting back in shape after giving birth was not particularly easy for Paula, the star thinks Beyoncé has little to worry about in that regard.

"I would give no advice to Beyoncé," Paula told OK! magazine. "Beyoncé's gorgeous and she probably knows a heck of a lot more than me about any of that. I would just tell her to enjoy being a mother and not worry about any of that. She'll be back in no time. She's gorgeous, no stress about how do you get it back. It's so sad for women. We make it so hard on each other."

Paula feels blessed with how she got back into shape after having Julian. The rigorous training she received for the movie she was filming at the time got her exercising vigorously.

"[Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol producers] believed in me enough to say we'll get you there, so that was a blessing for me," Paula shared. "Honestly, I wouldn't have worked that hard but 2 ½ hours of physical training and it was very different, physical events, all based on your own body weight, no weights or anything like that. It was an amazing experience I wouldn't have had had I not had the movie so I got very lucky in that way, I gotta be honest."

It's important to treat yourself well. Constantly deferring to others will deprive you of the finer things in life. Carve time out of your busy schedule to pamper yourself. Taking a nap, solitary walk or hot bath will revive your spirits. Get into the habit of spending more money on creature comforts. Treat such as gourmet food, beautiful clothes and intriguing books are investments in your happiness.
