Pauly D has no interest in basing his choices in life on whatever manifested in his past.
The Jersey Shore star has a full future with a lot to look forward to.
Pauly rarely thinks about his past mistakes, as he believes that the joys of living are fleeting.
"The Power of Now [is my favourite book]-it's about living life fully in the present, which I really try to take to heart," he told Star magazine.
When Pauly feels a little lost, he seeks wisdom from his father.
His joie de vivre stems from his dad's alacrity.
"This is from my dad. He said, 'Never get old.' " Pauly shared.
"It's the best piece of advice I have ever been given."
Pauly has a soft spot for timepieces.
The celebrity is vigilant about what he wears to track time.
"I collect watches," he said.
"I love each one I own, but my Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore would have to be my favourite."
