Pauly D was partying with the mother of his Jersey Shore co-star Vinny Guadagnino until 2.30am during one of his recent DJ gigs in Las Vegas.

The 32-year-old reality star, real name Paul DelVecchio, considers Paula Guadagnino to be like family.

He was reportedly elated when Vinny showed up with his mum to see his pal Pauly spin his monthly show at Las Vegas’ Haze Nightclub on March 23.

Rather than be embarrassed by her surprise appearance, Pauly is said to have ushered her toward the decks and introduced the matriarch to partygoers.

"Pauly welcomed Vinny’s mum Paula into the DJ booth and introduced her to the crowd as his second mother while everyone cheered," a source told America’s OK! magazine.

Apparently Vinny’s mother didn’t stay long but her late arrival meant that she didn’t leave the venue until about 2.30am. She hung out just long enough to say hello to the boys and listen to a little of Pauly’s set before she called it a night.

"She left after about 30 minutes and the boys hung out together until Pauly was done with his amazing set,” the insider added.

Pauly and Vinny were cast by MTV to appear on Jersey Shore back in 2009. Since then Pauly has used his fame to launch a successful DJ career.

Last year the network even gave him his own spin-off show. The Pauly D Project followed the television star as he made the transition from living in Seaside Heights, New Jersey to becoming a “world-class” DJ.
