Perez: Will Kardashian wear purple?

Kim Kardashian is set for a 'regal' wedding, according to Perez Hilton

Perez Hilton predicts that Kim Kardashian will walk down the aisle this weekend wearing 'regal' purple.

The reality TV star, who is set to tie the knot with basketball player Kris Humphries in California, has issued guests with a black and white dress code, leading to speculation she won't be clad in the traditional bridal hue.

Wedding guest and celebrity blogger Perez said: "If all the ladies are wearing white, Kim will not be showing up in a white dress.

"The bridesmaids are wearing green dresses, so Perez Hilton's astute guess would be that Kim will show up in a purple or lilac wedding gown, because that would really stand out from all the black, it would match well with the green - purple and green go well together - and purple or lilac is a very regal colour."

Kim started dating basketball player Kris last year, and the couple got engaged in May.

Perez reckons their nuptials will be Hollywood's answer to the royal wedding.

Unveiling a waxwork of Kim in a 300,000 dollar wedding dress at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood, he said: "You Brits had the royal wedding of Wills and Kate. Americans don't have royalty, so Hollywood stars are the closest we get to a royal, and this wedding is going to be on that level.

"Kim will be a princess on her wedding day."

It's been revealed that Vera Wang has designed both the wedding gown and the bridesmaid's dresses.

Perez predicted the star will go for a contemporary look that highlights her famous curves. "I imagine a long train, but tight around the hips so you can see that delicious derriere," he laughed.
