Perry: Sims is my life come alive
Katy Perry has revealed that she used her first guitar during the shoot for The Sims 3 Showtime.
The Teenage Dream singer, who has been spotted at Paris Fashion Week, wanted to get back to her roots and recapture those initial feelings for the new computer game, which captures her rise to stardom.
"I brought my first guitar that I wrote all my songs on so that I could feel what it felt in the very beginning when I was playing on a street," she said in a behind-the-scenes video.
"It was such an interesting shoot because everything was wired with fishing wire, and the guitar flies out of my hand, my dress falls off and I get into a shiny two-piece number that I used to wear on tour."
Katy - who filed for divorce from husband Russell Brand earlier this year - said it was interesting seeing her life flash before her eyes in the PC game.
She has helped design accessories, clothing, hairstyles, furniture and props in the game, which is available now.
"Finally you get to see me where I am today, playing to a lot of people with my blue hair, in shiny little outfits and singing Part Of Me. It's almost like my biography come to life," she added.
The 27-year-old admitted she's enjoying the French capital, tweeting: "Paris is everything! I'm never leaving!"
