Perry wants stars to get dressed

Katy Perry has admitted she wishes her fellow pop stars would stop getting naked all of the time.

The Roar singer, who in the past has been known to wear revealing outfits including a cupcake bra that shot foam, said in an interview with NPR that she wanted people to cover up more.

Katy said: "I do see myself becoming this, whatever, inspiration out of default right now because it's such a strange world. Like females in pop - everybody's getting naked.

"I mean, I've been naked before, but I don't feel like I have to always get naked to be noticed. But it's interesting to see.

"I'm not talking about anyone in particular. I'm talking about all of them. I mean, it's like, put it away. We know you've got it. I got it too. I've taken it off before and I'm not necessarily judging. I'm just saying sometimes it's nice to play that card but also it's nice to play other cards... I know I have that sexy card in my deck but I don't always have to use that card."

Meanwhile, a video has recently emerged of Katy, 29, and her Twilight star friend Robert Pattinson singing karaoke together at a friend's birthday party in 2008.

Radio.com reported that the pair sang Boyz II Men's I'll Make Love To You while sitting on stage at the karaoke bar and sounded as though they'd had a few drinks.

At one point, Katy complained, "This chair is too high to make love," before relocating from her stool to R-Patz's lap and helping herself to his drink.
