Peter Andre thinks it would be “lovely” to have another child before Christmas 2016.

Peter Andre and his wife are eager to have another baby, and hope to have a new arrival by next Christmas (16).

The Strictly Come Dancing star and his spouse Emily MacDonagh are considering extending their family, and think the time is right as their daughter Amelia will turn two in January. The couple realise they will have to make a plan soon if they are to stand a chance of welcoming another child before Christmas 2016 comes around.

“We’ll have to start trying in the next couple of months if we do decide, as we’d want to ensure it’s as close to the end of August as possible,” Emily told Britain’s OK! magazine. “That way I could take a year out and get the maximum amount of time with the baby.”

Peter also has two children, 10-year-old Junior and Princess, eight, with his ex-wife Katie Price. He has always dreamed of having a big family and would be thrilled to add to his brood in the next year.

“It would be lovely to have another baby by next Christmas,” the star smiled.

Peter is currently taking a break from work, after being voted out of BBC show Strictly Come Dancing in week 10. He and Emily are enjoying a romantic skiing holiday in the Alps, and although many tipped Peter to take the Strictly glitterball trophy, the 42-year-old star is feeling relieved to have left behind the exhausting rehearsal schedule.

“I was starting to get a little stressed and it was taking its toll,” Peter explained, before revealing he lost 3kg during his time on the popular entertainment show.

However, he is confident he can pile on the pounds with the festive holidays fast approaching, “I think I began to look gaunt, so I don’t mind if the weight goes back on over Christmas.”

The Strictly Come Dancing final will take place this weekend (19-20Dec15), with Jay McGuinness, Georgia May Foote, Katie Derham and Kellie Bright competing to be crowned champion.
