Phil: I lost control This Morning!

Phillip Schofield conceded he "lost control" as Sinitta's children took over ITV1's This Morning - and began pulling faces at viewers.

The youngsters - Zac and Magdalena - began larking around while their mum was being interviewed about National Adoption Week, with Supernanny Jo Frost looking on.

But the children also melted viewers' hearts when they appealed for more people to come forward to volunteer.

The pair began waving their arms in front of the cameras during the live interview, then started poking their heads into view while their mum spoke.

They also pulled funny faces and stuck their tongues out as the usually unflappable Phillip and co-host Holly Willoughby tried to carry on with the item.

Zac eventually stood up and started fiddling with the battery pack of his microphone until Sinitta grabbed him on to her lap, with his legs in the air.

He then told the audience: "Please let the children have a mummy and daddy so they can have everything they need."

Phillip said: "I have a feeling we've lost control - it doesn't happen often."

And he told the children: "You can have that bit of gold paper you found down the back of the sofa - and money and old chips."
