Pierce Brosnan says love helps "exorcise tiredness".
The 59-year-old actor married Keely Shaye Smith in 2001, ten years after his first wife Cassandra Harris died from cancer.
He couldn't be happier with his partner Keely and admires her more as each day passes.
"Life is so complicated that love is the best antidote: it is a great way to exorcise tiredness, depression, also the fear of the ageing. We don't have to be frightened by our feelings. I fall in love with my wife Keely more every day," he told Italian magazine A.
Pierce and journalist Keely met in 1994 and at the time he didn't think he was ready for another relationship.
They have since had two sons together - 15-year-old Dylan and Paris, 11 - and he knows she is the right woman for him.
"She even buys me clothes: sometimes I rebel against it, but then I realise that she's right. I love flirting with her and disagreeing with her but I know that at the end it is the woman that decides," Pierce laughed.
