Pink admits that she "used to be really, really angry."
The 33-year-old singer lived fast and wild in her past.
Pink is now happily married to motocross racer Carey Hart and the pair share 15-month-old daughter Willow together.
Pink credits much of her new-found inner peace to expressing herself through music.
"I used to be really, really angry and I used to have a lot of demons, and I have exorcised a lot of them through touring and through screaming on stage, and through creating this network of camaraderie of people all over the world," she told Fox News.
Motherhood has given Pink a new lease on life.
Caring for another human being has expanded her horizons.
"Being a mother, being a parent, it's a cliché for a reason. It softens you, it makes you bigger and it makes you capable of more," she explained.
"Instead of waking up and being all 'ugggghhhhh, what do I have to do today?' You wake up and you are like, 'A! B! C! D! E! F! G! H! I! J! K! L! M! N! O! P' and that is your whole day, it is more fun."
