Pink has opened up about her role as a new mother, and revealed the reasoning behind her baby daughter's name.
The musician, whose real name is Alecia Moore, gave birth to Willow Sage by caesarian on June 2.
She told People magazine: "The willow is my favourite tree. I grew up near one. It's the most flexible tree in nature and nothing can break it - no wind, no elements."
She continued: "It can bend and withstand anything. I love that sentiment. I want that for her."
As for Willow's middle name, the 31-year-old explained: "Sage is cleansing and sacred."
Pink added that husband Carey Hart was a "natural" at parenting, and was waking up for each night feed and nappy change.
