Pippa Middleton ‘excited to be aunt’
Pippa Middleton is over the moon about being an aunt to a prince.
The sister of Britain's Duchess of Cambridge is said to be thrilled by the arrival of her nephew, who was born on Monday.
Prince William and his wife Catherine announced that the little boy is called George Alexander Louis on Wednesday, with Pippa already offering to help out her sibling with the early days of motherhood.
"[She's been saying she's] ‘very excited about my sister's baby’ and that she's ‘so happy to be an aunt, as I love kids,’” a source close to the Middleton family told People.
The 29-year-old visited Kensington Palace earlier this week to help take care of the new-born with her stockbroker boyfriend Nico Jackson.
Pippa was pictured locking lips with Nico earlier this year on the slopes of St. Moritz in Switzerland after the athletic couple had taken part in a gruelling ski marathon.
The 35-year-old businessman has since emerged as a serious contender to be the pretty brunette's long-term suitor.
Pippa is well known to be a lover of children and is an ambassador for the Mary Hare School for deaf children.
William and Catherine have now moved to the Middleton family home located in Bucklebury.
Meanwhile speculation is rife about where Prince George's name originates from.
A source close to the couple claimed this speculation is highly irrelevant and dismissed the many theories circulating about why this moniker has been chosen for the tot.
"Don't read into [the names] too much," a source told Us Weekly. "They are not meant to be symbolic; they are just names the couple like."
