Pitch Perfect stars Anna Camp and Skylar Astin are engaged.

The happy couple, who have been dating since 2013, shared their happy news via Instagram on Saturday (02Jan16). Skylar took to his account to post a snap of them both grinning widely, writing: “I asked. She said yes!!!” Anna sweetly mirrored his message on her own Instagram, sharing the same picture and adding: “He asked. I said YES!!!!”

Anna and Skylar met on the set of 2012’s Pitch Perfect, where sparks flew. Immediately, 33-year-old Anna realised she and Skylar, 28, had a connection.

“We were friends first and just hit it off,” she smiled to in 2014. “He’s just so great, and he’s a Libra too. We didn’t really have a scene together, but he’s just such a fun guy. He’s great. He was dating somebody, and I had been through (a divorce) and he was like, ‘Do you want to go on a date?’ I remember thinking, ‘Well, he’s younger than me.’ He’s five years younger. He’s 26, and I’m 31. But I was like, ‘You know what? OK! Let’s do it, let’s see.’ He’s literally my best friend.”

Anna married actor Michael Mosley in 2010 but filed for divorce in 2013, the same year she began dating Skylar. Despite the breakdown of her marriage, she wasn’t put off walking down the aisle again.

“I don’t count it out at all,” she previously said of tying the knot a second time. “It would have to be the right time, and I have to be really, really prepared for it again. I’m not anti-marriage by any means.”
