Pitt and Jolie 'making great strides'

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt claims that he and fiancée Angelina didn't recognise how the prospect of marriage would impact their relationship.

The Hollywood stars raise six children together, Maddox, 11, Pax, eight, seven-year-old Zahara, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Brad and Angelina became engaged earlier this year.

The actor reveals that their family plays a large part in their betrothal.

"I don't know, we're making great strides," he told Extra.

"I will admit we have had some pressure from our kids. We didn't realise how much it means to them, and in getting engaged, we didn't realise how much it means to ourselves."

Brad and Angelina's children appear to be really happy.

On a recent family outing in the UK, the kids wrote messages to Father Christmas and surprised onlookers by how polite they were.

"It was so cute. All the children sent messages to Father Christmas and were absolutely beautifully behaved," Post office worker Fiona Lindsay said.

"Just like any other kids in a sweet shop they were excited, but Angelina controlled them perfectly."

Escaping the fray will be a relief. Although you enjoy socialising, you also crave private time. Being able to watch movies, read books and listen to music replenishes your batteries. A needy relative could request help. This would be a good time to establish some healthy boundaries. Stop dropping everything for this relative's benefit.More
