Pitt ‘wants no surprises’
Brad Pitt reportedly doesn’t even want to talk about turning 50 years old.
The Counselor actor turned 50 years old on December 18, but it is claimed Brad isn’t very moved by entering his new epoch.
According to sources he is keeping celebrations extremely low-key.
"He's not doing anything for it and he said he doesn't want any surprises," a source told Us Weekly magazine. "He really doesn't want to talk about his birthday much."
Brad’s fiancée Angelina Jolie is currently in Australia with their six children.
And apparently he believes the only way to truly honour turning 50 is by being with his family Down Under.
"Brad said he's going to celebrate his birthday this weekend in Australia," the insider explained.
"That's going to be the only thing he does."
Brad is currently on location in London filming World War II drama Fury.
The source confirms that although the project has been demanding the effort is “worth it” because “the film is going to be amazing”.
It is unknown exactly where the Brad-Jolie brood will be spending the holidays together, but it’s likely their reunion will be influenced by professional obligations.
“They're used to celebrating wherever they're working," another insider told the publication.
British newspaper The Mirror reported last month that Angelina has a huge birthday gift for Brad.
She is reportedly buying him a £12.2 million heart-shaped island named Petra, which is situated off the US east coast.
