Tenor Plácido Domingo thinks Lady Gaga "has a very good voice."
The legendary opera singer is a big fan of the pop star.
Although Plácido admits that he doesn't buy into Gaga's outlandish stage antics, the crooner admires her musicianship.
"I think Lady Gaga has a very good voice. Absolutely. She has a wonderful voice," Plácido told British newspaper the Daily Mail. "I know she's very wild in her performance, and clever, and she does all these things to please the youth. But when you listen to her, the voice is good."
Plácido admires a host of pop legends.
"I love Celine Dion very much," he shared. "And Mariah Carey. And Madonna. And Whitney Houston had a wonderful voice."
Plácido has graced internationally renowned stages, but the singer feels most comfortable performing in his bathroom.
"Of course! I have some of my best performances in the shower," he laughed. "You can risk anything there without worrying about mistakes. I sing more or less my whole repertoire."
Gaga's Born This Way Ball global series of shows began on April 27 in Seoul.
