Poldark's newest brush with fame

Poldark star Aidan Turner gets the brush-off from a crew member in this behind-the-scenes shot from the BBC's latest costume drama.

Turner plays the title character in the remake of the classic series based on Winston Graham's Cornish saga.

The original version attr acted audiences of 15 million when it was first broadcast by the BBC in the 1970s.

The new version, which goes out after the watershed at 9pm on Sunday , will again focus on the romance between the mysterious Poldark and servant girl Demelza, played by Eleanor Tomlinson.

She admitted the new version was "probably sexier" than the original and some things have been changed for a modern audience.
