Prince Harry 'hates spotlight on him'

Prince Harry is reportedly happy to be dropping further down the line of succession to the throne.

The dashing royal, who celebrated his milestone 30th birthday on Monday, shared his delight at the news that his brother Prince William is to become a dad for the second time when his wife Catherine gives birth next year. But reportedly his joy is for more than one reason.

"The fact that the world's eyes will be on Kate and her baby bump is no bad thing as far as Harry's concerned," Katie Nicholl, royal correspondent for the Mail On Sunday and Vanity Fair, told British magazine Heat. "Harry hates having the spotlight on him. He's not only thrilled there's a sibling on the way for George, but he's also happy to be dropping further down the line of succession. While he's obviously not looking to shirk his responsibilities, he will be relieved there's less expectation on his shoulders now."

The main pressure on the Prince revolves around his love life. The royal broke up with girlfriend Cressida Bonas in April after two years together amid claims that she couldn't handle all the attention that comes with dating him. He is rumoured to now be dating Camilla Thurlow after the pair were reportedly seen locking lips at the Tonteria nightclub, though he was spotted out with Cressida earlier this week.

While his own personal life may up in the air, Harry makes sure he enjoys family time with the Duke and Duchess and their 13-month-old son Prince George.

"Harry's a great uncle - he babysits George and regularly goes over to play with him," Katie added.
