Prince William 'furious over flashing photos'

Prince William

Britain's Prince William will reportedly do "anything" to protect his wife Catherine from any further unfortunate photos.

The royal's wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, was caught off guard while on tour in Australia when a gust of wind blew up her skirt, revealing her bare butt.

According to Paul Burrell, the former butler of William's late mother Diana, the handsome prince is livid that a photographer captured the moment.

"William is sure to be furious that these pictures have surfaced, and I think he would do anything in his power to protect Kate," he assured the British edition of OK! magazine.

"Fortunately, Kate has someone who adores her and will do anything for her."

It's not the first time Catherine, 32, has been caught unaware. In 2012 the French edition of Closer magazine caused outrage when they published snaps of the pretty royal sunbathing topless on holiday.

Paul thinks it's time she took action and ensured nothing like this can happen again.

"I'm surprised that Kate's dressmakers don't follow the routine of royal ladies, but hopefully this is a warning to them," he marvelled.

"It's not difficult to do and it won't show - it's simply a precaution. The Queen has weights sewn into her clothes and so did Diana. She was only too aware of wardrobe malfunctions."

Paul added he hopes Catherine will never get "pestered" as much as Diana was, which he claims included someone putting a camera in a gym to obtain pictures of her getting changed.
