Princess Eugenie ‘loves growing family’
Princess Eugenie is “excited” for her cousin Prince William and Kate Middleton’s second child.
Clarence House confirmed Britain's Duchess of Cambridge was pregnant with her second child earlier this week. Eugenie’s cousin Prince William and wife Catherine became parents for the first time in July of last year when Catherine gave birth to Prince George.
“[I'm] very excited!" Eugenie told Us Weekly of the couple’s announcement. "Love new members of the family!"
Kensington Palace released a statement informing the public Catherine is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, which she also experienced during her first pregnancy. She is being treated by doctors at the palace and has had to cancel some royal arrangements, including William’s brother Prince Harry’s launch events for the Invictus Games.
“I can’t wait to see my brother suffer more,” Harry told media on Monday, via Vanity Fair. “If it’s a girl, he’ll suffer even more. I’d love to see him try and cope with that.
“In all seriousness, I hope my sister-in-law gets better soon,” he continued. “The last time I saw her, she was okay. Feeling pretty poorly, but I think that’s to be expected. Luckily I’m not a woman so I don’t have to go through that. It’s a pretty horrible thing.”
Harry added the news of another member of the family was “very exciting” and George “will be over the moon” for a sibling.
William and Catherine have made no secret that they want to expand their family and recently relocated to country house Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
