Priyanka Chopra isn't afraid of hard work.

Actress Priyanka Chopra intends to remain a single woman until she gets married.

The gorgeous 33 year old is very reserved when it comes to romance, noting her cautious approach to affairs of the heart stems from the courting tradition in her native India.

"I'll stay single until I’m married," she tells U.S. magazine InStyle. "I've always believed that."

"I’ve never dated," she adds. "I’ve always been in relationships. It's very different (in India). You like someone, you court each other, you get into a relationship. You're answerable to each other. Whereas the non-answerability of dating (in Western countries), my god, I don’t know if I would ever be able to. I've never done it, so I don't know."

The beauty queen then went on the describe her ideal man, noting: "I want to be with somebody who has drive but doesn’t take himself too seriously. I don’t like people who are caged within how life should be. Life is transient, and it's a journey, and I want to be with somebody who can see that."

Priyanka has starred in over 50 Indian movies since she was crowned Miss World in the 2000 pageant and she is just recently experiencing success in America, and she intends to be a major figurehead on the entertainment scene for years to come.

"It's just math," she explains. "If you're not afraid of working hard, of being a candle that’s burning on both ends, and you’re still going, going, going … then you can't be denied."

Viewers can watch the gorgeous star saving lives in a signature red bathing suit opposite hunks Zac Efron, Dwayne Johnson and supermodel Kelly Rohrbach in forthcoming Baywatch revamp when it reaches U.S. theatres on 19 May (17).
