Punters who backed the Cheryl and Ashley Cole to split cashing in
Monday, 22 February 2010
Cheryl Cole may not have called time on her marriage but a bookmaker has blown the final whistle for her footballer husband Ashley.
Punters who backed the couple to split this year were told they could cash in their betting slips in the wake of lurid headlines relating to the Chelsea player's alleged infidelities.
Bookie William Hill decided the relationship was irretrievable just days after X Factor judge Cheryl performed at the Brits without her wedding ring.
Spokesman Rupert Adams said a string of allegations linking her husband to other women had left bookmakers convinced her marriage to Ashley — who won Match of the Day’s Goal of the Month competition at the weekend — would not survive.
And he suggested Cheryl may already have made her decision. “I don't think anybody in the public eye can keep taking it on the chin,” he said.
“The revelations keep coming and sometimes there is no point in fighting for this love and we think Cheryl has thrown the towel in.”

One has to wonder why she thought it would be any different considering the way these 'showbiz' people behave without any moral standards or consideration for the feelings of others. It's time these people went back to God and put him first instead of their over inflated egos. Do they realise that they are also responsible for the behaviour of their young fans who maybe influenced by them. Cheryl wake up and find yourself a decent ordinary bloke who will have respect for you and treat you right.

we should all stop rejoycing when there are problem in peoples relationship. these journalist does not like to see people happy. what is this world coming to. in life you have seven times to fall also to rise no relationship will ever be smooth, this is what we did to JESUS when he did nothing i am so sorry for the lot of us who love to grovell into other people's sadness. We need to think what we are doing to peoples life, some might be strong whie others will take their life whose fault will that be.
