Members of royal staff who have never been interviewed are to contribute to a new TV portrait of the Queen to be screened by ITV.
The two-hour film, recorded throughout the Diamond Jubilee year, will also include interviews with prime ministers who have served during her reign.
The programme, Our Queen, will also give behind-the-scenes access to her residences and ITV said it gives an insight into modern monarchy.
Jo Clinton-Davis, ITV's controller of popular factual programming, said: "This is a landmark documentary covering an exceptional year in the life of the Queen and we are delighted to be able to broadcast it on ITV later this year."
