Queen's University student Jessica Elder mimics Adele's Hello to canvass for votes

Published 26/02/2016

'Hello' - this Queen's University student really knows how to canvass for votes.

Students' Union election candidate Jessica Elder is running for the Welfare Officer gig at the Belfast university and got some inspiration from Adele's chart-topper 'Hello'.

In a video that could rival the original, the candidate mimics the massively successful singer-songwriter and it looks like she has great fun in the process.

This video was just added to YouTube on Friday, with Jessica posting that she's nervous and excited about the week to come.

"After an evening full of election posters and getting freaked out seeing my face about campus I’m looking forward to taking things up a gear in the run up to next week’s election," she wrote.

"I had the best time recording all the vocals and video this past week."
