Rebel Wilson spills on steamy behind-the-scenes action from her film Pitch Perfect.

The Australian comedienne has dished on behind-the-scenes action from the hit film on the eve of its DVD release. Rebel plays Fat Amy in the US comedy, which sees two university singing groups go head-to-head at a campus competition.

“I hope mine and Bumper’s shower scene makes it in the DVD,” Rebel tells Britain’s Star magazine. “It was too racy for the cinema release.”

Of course, Rebel is probably joking. The 27-year-old star has built a successful career upon her unique brand of ironic humour, which she most recently displayed at the MTV Video Awards. The internationally televised event saw Rebel reveal a faux double nip-slip and gyrate on-stage in a black leather dominatrix-style outfit during her hosting duties.

Rebel got her first acting break as Toula in Australian comedy series Pizza.

But it wasn’t until she landed a role in the hit film Bridesmaids, alongside fellow Australian Rose Byrne, that she became a household name in the US.

“I am noticing a lot of love,” Rebel says of her Australian fan base. “But they are pretty easy-going, so sometimes they can’t be bothered. They see you and they are like [puts on a bored voice]: ‘Hi.’”
