Rebel Wilson and comedian Mickey Gooch Jr. are said to have called it quits on their romance after dating for just a few months.

The 35-year-old Pitch Perfect actress was first romantically linked to the comedian back in May.

However Us Weekly magazine reports their brief love affair is over.

The outlet claims there is no love lost though, as they split on amicable terms.

"It’s been hard for him," a source told the publication. "They’re still friends, so you never know if they might get back together in the future."

The former couple made several public appearances together while they were an item.

Rebel shared a picture of them together at a New York Rangers game on her social media account and it’s also claimed Mickey supported the star at the premiere of her comedy Pitch Perfect 2.

Previous reports suggested their personalities seemed to gel well.

“They get along really well, they respect each other’s work," an insider told Us Weekly. "She's been too busy to date for a while, they've been texting often and they've been spending some time together in L.A. and New York."

It is unknown why Rebel and Mickey decided to part ways.

But Rebel has previously spoken about her struggles to maintain a steady love life.

“You have to sacrifice relationships because you work, and now I travel all around the world," she told Australia's Elle magazine. "I'm constantly moving and constantly travelling and so it's really hard to maintain a relationship in that kind of environment. I keep that [part of my life] quiet. You have to have some private stuff, and so I've never flaunted anything or talked about anybody."
